Lutheran Church Vansthalipuram Hyderabad, Before 1984 Lutheran families living in Vanasthalipuram area were attending to Lutheran church Lakadikapool. At that time Bro. P.Peter, Bro. Nanda Koteshwar Rao requested Rev. Lam Charles to start Sunday worship services at Vanasthalipuram Hyderabad. Then families of Bro. Bandela Moses, Bro. K Abraham Lincon, Bro. Balla Ratana Raju, Bro. Rapaka Ratana Kumar, Bro. B.A. Willington, Bro. E.D. Livingston, Bro. Peter, Bro. Koteshwar Rao, assembled in a private school by name Pinky Flavour run by Bro. K.V. Satyanandam and Bro. M. Daniel Raju on October 7th, 1984 for the first worship.
In the initial stage to continue worship services church faced soo many problems, at that time Bro. P Rajamohanroy and Bro. B Johnbabu helped to continue Sunday worships, and other festivals, Rev. Dr. M. Victorpal (ACTC Professor) had taken a special care to establish and run the church at Vanasthalipuram Hyderabad. Professors from ACTC Rev. S.V.Lutherpal, Rev. B.C. Pal, Rev. Sampurna Rao, Rev. David Raj, Rev. Yesupadam were attending to run all kind of worships in Lutheran Church Vanasthalipuram. Smt. B.Lilly Willington used to run Sunday school regularly and made women of the church more prayerful members. When the school is shifted to some other place worships were taken place in the house of Bro. T Yesuspadam, the same was continued for four years in that house.
Construction of the present church was started In the year 1991 in the month of MAY, at that time Pastor Rev. M. Vijay Rao has taken a lot of troubles to complete the church in the year 1993, and the church was inaugurated by the prayers of Rev. B.C Pal, Synod president, and Rev. C.H Yohan. Salaries of the pastor were paid by Lutheran church Lakadikapool till it is elevated to the status of “B” Class Parish by the AELC Guntur.
The Gigantic venture with an estimated cost of over Rs.45 Lakhs has been taken up fully depending on our LORD’s Mighty power and blessings, finally completed in November 2007, and inaugurated by Dr.V.E Christopher and Rev. Elea at that time the parish pastor was Rev. Prasanna Kumar. Every year church anniversary celebrations are taken place on 6th and 7th of October.
